Caring for my dying brother Ged until he died (2008) provoked interest in death, impermanence and the creation of memories and mementoes. I developed Tribute Art which celebrates the life of a loved person or place, to create legacies and memories. Each tombstone is a tribute taking images of a deceased person from old photographs and placing them in a new context. Figures and landscapes are embellished with colour, texture, fabrics, drawings and objects that reference both the past and the present. The tombstones are wooden representing the cycle of life. 2013 Hidden Sculpture Walk at Rookwood Cemetery, Finalist
